Columbus, also known as Tomahawk, is an excellent bittering hop with good flavour profiles. Although mainly bred for its high alpha, this hop is also popular for its oil profile. Columbus has a pleasantly pungent aroma. This makes it a good hop for IPA, Pale Ale, Stout, Imperial and even Lager.
